Overview
Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading FMCG company in Johannesburg to find an experienced National Sales Manager. As the National Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the sales strategy and achieving sales targets within the FMCG sector.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve business objectives
Lead and manage a team of sales representatives across South Africa
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and stakeholders
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats
Set sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team
Monitor and report on sales performance and market intelligence
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, and customer service)
Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Years of sales management experience in the FMCG industry
Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and growing business
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
Strong understanding of the South African FMCG market
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Experience in managing a team of sales representatives across multiple regions (advantageous)
Knowledge of sales of vapes and other non perishables
