Position Summary

We are now looking for a National Sales Manager(Out of Home)to be based at our Bryston Head Office.
Lead the Nestlé Professional General Trade sales team (KAM’s and Field Operations Manager) based at Head Office as well as KAM in Mozambique to deliver agreed objectives, KPI’s and sales plans by building the business relationship with customers. Ensure annual customer plans are aligned with the overall business and customer objectives & strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives.
A day in the life of a National Sales Manager – OOH:
Lead a motivated anddynamicteam of Sales Managers and Sales Reps to achieve their strategic objectives as defined by theSenior LeadershipTeam.
Provide strategic direction/input for development of Channels, Customers and Field sales strategies in line with business requirements (Market Business Strategy & Integrated Commercial Planning).
Within the monthly business planning cycle, ability to derive an accurate forecast using insights and analysis.
Develop clear measures for tracking and reportingsales performancein terms of NNS, Customer performance, Accounts Receivable debt collection and trade spend.
Accountable and Responsible to ensure achievement of agreedsales targets/KPIs. Challenges the sales organization to ensure effectiveness and meet evolution of business requirements.
Drive Sustainable Profitable growth by understanding the impact of trade spend investments on sales and profitability and optimizes them utilizing simulation scenarios and ROI analysis (e.g. Pre-Post promo evaluation).
Ensure effective liaison with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other functions to manage trade-off and drive for overall objectives achievement.
Develop business relationship with key OOH Customers and Distributors to ensure strategic alignment for planning and management and continuously improvecustomer satisfaction. Manage the customer performance, periodically reviewing the performance and revising the course as needed.
Recognize different customer/buyer tactics, behaviors and motivations and achieve mutual goals by conditionally trading concessions when necessary and always maintaining self-control.
Promote sustainable agreements through strong compliance and a high level of trust to develop partnerships.
Ensure development of people careers as well as own, succession plans, development and coaching of sales personnel as well as direct reports.
What will make you successful?
More than 10 years experience in commercial operations, preferably in OOH(Out of Home).
At least 3 years in a managerial position.
Strong experience in Key Account Management & Sales Operations.
Ability to work and build relationships cross-functionally e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing.
Business Degree or equivalent.
Demonstrated success in previous roles, delivering on KPI’s, top and bottom line.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach & develop teams.
