The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue profitability and market share objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can develop and implement strategic sales plans nurture client relationships and drive business growth in the public and private sectors. This role reports to the General Manager
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the companys national sales strategy to achieve growth targets.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
Set and monitorsales goals forecasts and budgets in alignment with company objectives.
Lead coachand motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional performance.
Conduct regularperformance evaluations and provide training to enhance skills and product knowledge.
Recruitonboard and retain top talent in sales and account management.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in both public and privatesectors.
Contribute tothe tender process proposals and negotiations to help secure contracts anddrive revenue.
Ensure customer satisfaction and address concerns promptly to maintain loyalty.
Work closely with the Managing Director Product Managers and Service Team to align sales strategies with operational capabilities.
Provide regularsales reports including performance metrics pipeline updates and forecasts to senior management.
Participate in strategic decision making as part of the leadership team.
Market Expansion
Identify newmarket segments and opportunities for business development.
Support the expansion of the CT and MRI product portfolio in line with the companys growth strategy.
Drive initiatives to increase the companys footprint in veterinary and radiologymarkets.
Achievement of national sales targets and profitability goals.
Growth inmarket share across product portfolios.
Performance and retention of the sales team.
Success in securing private sector contracts
Requirements
Qualifications& Experience
Degree ordiploma in Business Marketing or a related field.
8 years ofsales experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role preferably in the medical equipment industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience with government tenders and private sector healthcare clients is advantageous.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Strategicthinking with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
Indepthknowledge of the diagnostic imaging market and its dynamics.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
