Our client is looking for a Retail Operations Manager to oversee the execution of retail strategies, ensuring sales growth, profitability, and outstanding customer service across multiple outlets. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing day-to-day retail operations, maintaining high product quality standards, and leading a motivated team to enhance the overall brand experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a robust retail strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
Set and manage sales budgets and outlet targets in alignment with business objectives.
Ensure seamless daily operations across all retail outlets, including merchandising standards, product displays, and stock management.
Oversee inventory control to maintain product availability, minimize stock-outs, and optimize the product mix.
Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards across all locations.
Conduct regular audits and staff training on meat handling, storage, and sanitation to meet regulatory requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop field staff and outlet managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement training programs focused on product knowledge, customer service, and operational best practices.
Enhance the customer experience by optimizing store layouts and service protocols.
Work with the marketing team to execute local promotions, events, and brand loyalty initiatives.
Identify and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Utilize IT tools and point-of-sale (POS) systems to monitor performance, manage stock levels, and generate actionable insights.
Conduct regular sales and operations meetings to track progress, address challenges, and ensure accountability.
Prepare and analyze monthly performance reports to support strategic decisions and operational adjustments.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational regulations.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service providers meet quality and performance standards.
Execute additional responsibilities as required, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in retail operations management, preferably within the food, FMCG, or butchery sector.
At least 5 years of experience in a junior or middle management role.
Proven ability to manage multiple retail outlets with a strong focus on food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with retail and POS systems.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
