SUMMARY:
Our client in the Chemical Manufacturing Sector is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Financial Manager to join their dynamic team.
POSITION INFO:
Core Responsibilities
- Senior FP&A leadership role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment
- Part of a US-based multinational group
- Responsible for overseeing local and regional FP&A functions
- Partner closely with the Managing Director and Group Finance teams
- Drive strategic financial planning and business performance initiatives
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support decision-making
- Monitor operational and financial performance across the business
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with group standards
- Support business growth, profitability and cost optimisation initiatives
- Lead and mentor the finance team within a fast-paced environment
- Manufacturing industry experience essential
- Multinational exposure highly advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen and leadership abilities required
- Own and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range financial plans
- Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting, including detailed variance analysis
- Prepare and submit multinational reporting packs in USD within strict group deadlines
- Act as the lead financial business partner to the Managing Director and operational leadership teams
- Analyse and translate manufacturing data, including costs, margins, inventory and production volumes into meaningful financial insight
- Support effective working capital management across inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Develop robust financial models for scenario planning, forecasting and strategic business initiatives
- Ensure compliance and alignment with group financial controls, policies and reporting standards
- Drive continuous improvement within the FP&A function and finance processes
- Lead, mentor and develop FP&A capability within the finance team
Minimum Requirements
- CIMA qualification or Management Accounting Honours Degree essential
- 10+ years’ senior finance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven FP&A leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Exposure to Chemical, Industrial and/or FMCG manufacturing sectors
- Strong multinational or regional group reporting experience
- Advanced ERP systems knowledge and reporting capability
- Strong AI, Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics skills
