PURPOSE OF THE POSITION.
The Motorcade Driver Protector is responsible for driving and protecting the principal during travel, ensuring the safety of the motorcade and managing any potential threats that may arise on the road. This role involves high-level driving skills, coordination with other members of the security team, and the ability to respond to emergencies or security incidents in a quick and effective manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements
A detailed CV with relevant experience, specifically in motorcade driving, close protection, or related fields.
Must have a valid PSIRA Grade A certification, which is required for security personnel in South Africa.
A Matric Certificate (South African secondary school completion certificate).
A valid Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP), required for commercial driving in South Africa.
An Advanced Driving Certificate from an accredited institution, showcasing high-level driving skills, including defensive and evasive driving techniques.
A Close Protection Certificate from a recognized training provider, demonstrating proficiency in close protection practices.
A valid South African Identity Document (SA ID) or equivalent is required for legal employment.
