Our client based in Centurion, is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician. This role is ideal for a qualified professional who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles.
Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault-finding with accuracy and efficiency.
Work confidently across various vehicle makes and models, both light and commercial.
Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify issues and complete necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate job cards and service records in accordance with company standards.
Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness at all times.
Provide exceptional service to clients and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Requirements:
Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential).
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the automotive industry.
Proficient in working on both petrol and diesel engines.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Own, fully equipped toolbox (non-negotiable).
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license.
Grade 12
Clean Criminal Record
