Santam’s Motor Claims (North Region: Gauteng, North-West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Kwa Zulu Natal) has a position available for a Motor Claims Service Consultant – Abuntex, that will be based in Centurion.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to process all the allocated Motor Claims and make them ready for an assessor to be appointed. The CSC will be responsible for all queries on the claim, including communication with the client, intermediary, and/or service provider.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage workload and instructions from the system through any communication and/or documents.
Work closely with your team.
Check completeness and correctness of documents.
Get claim assessment ready and appoint the assessor.
Contact clients or intermediaries telephonically for any identified outstanding information and keep them informed.
Follow up on claims to receive digital images and/or any documentation necessary for assessment.
Handle complaints and queries, interacting with clients, intermediaries, service providers, internal stakeholders, relationship managers, and underwriters, either by telephone or email.
Create services on Claims Center system for rental.
Arrange, manage rental requests, extensions, and terminations.
Attend to your review and daily activities on the Claims Center system.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Matric.
Fully computer literate (MS Office).
2 – 4 years’ claims experience.
Any previous claims handling, pre-support, and/or post-support experience is advantageous.
Knowledge of Abuntex, BPM, Claims Center, and Codeplex (SPM) will be an advantage.
