Overview We are looking for a craft-centric, conceptual motion graphics designer (with at least 4 years of experience) to work with our multi-talented studio, which services Toyota South Africa.
The role requires a key understanding of motion graphics design and the ability to create exceptional work for web & digital, digital out of home, and all major social media platforms.
Responsibilities Work closely with internal and external teams to manage Video and Motion Graphic projects effectively.
Manage internal relationships on production-related issues, as well as managing client needs and expectations.
Manage your creative process on projects.
Collaborate with other disciplines (Strategy, Creative, Media, and Accounts).Be a champion for technical innovation.
Define or apply the aesthetic of overall campaigns.
Consistently produce creative elements against a deliverables list.
Participate in brainstorms & conceptualisation.
Lead the craft of motion work.
Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Motion Graphics Designer in an Interactive, Video, and / or Motion Graphics related field.
Ability to provide rationales for creative choices made.
Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies & platforms.
Strong understanding of best practice interaction and visual design principles.
Ability to facilitate technical workgroup meetings.
Capable of working on one sizable and one medium-sized project simultaneously.
Ability to attend reviews with three new ideasfortable running and overseeing projects independently.
Additional Information Proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of Key Note / PowerPoint.
Experience with Animation.
Knowledge of Blender (Advantageous).Knowledge of Cinema 4D (Advantageous).Experience with AI Image & Video Generation (Advantageous).Strong understanding of relevant plugins :
Trapcode Suite, Magic Bullet Suite, etc.
