Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls for water, fire, mold, storm-related, and biohazard losses.
  • Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, and team members to job sites.
  • Keep all tools and equipment organized and well maintained.
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, mold remediation and cleaning, smoke & soot cleaning, odor control, and debris removal. using industry-standard equipment and handle power tools and specialized equipment efficiently.
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment, including dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtration, and specialty equipment.
  • Take moisture readings, complete drying logs, and document job progress.
  • Upload photos, notes, moisture maps, and reports into our CRM DASH.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and material needs with the office, Lead Tech, and Estimator.
  • Present a professional appearance groomed and in uniform
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all phases of work to prevent accidents or health hazards.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure all work complies with IICRC or ICRA standards, company procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job sites in a clean, organized, and operational condition.
  • Participate in rotation for after-hours emergency response, weekend on-call schedules, and overtime as needed.
  • Attend production meetings and assist with training and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of restoration or mitigation experience preferred.
  • IICRC WRT certification preferred; ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or other certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with hydrometers, moister meters, using a CRM/Computer Skills are beneficial.
  • Punctuality is required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and emergency-response environments.
  • Forklift Experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
  • Climb ladders and work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
  • Bend, kneel, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
  • Work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Wear PPE, including respirators, as required.

Experience

  • Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration, flood mitigation, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with Xactimate software for estimating project costs is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration devices safely.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and personal protective equipment (PPE) use in all work environments.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward helping clients through stressful situations.
  • Ability to work on-call shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed for emergency response coverage.

Pay: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour
