Position: Mine Maintenance Plant Engineer (GCC Mines) – Thabazimbi – Rneg + Ben

Mine Maintenance Plant Engineer (GCC Mines) – Thabazimbi – Rneg + Ben
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Engineering department and carry the legal responsibility in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Implement planned maintenance system.
Manage capital projects.
Performance assessment of foremen and artisans.
Manage critical spares inventory.
Experience on process plant or platinum concentrator.
Equipment maintenance systems including pumps and pipe systems for slurry and clear water.
Bulk materials handling (conveyor belts and associated systems).
Classification equipment (screening, DMS drum, cyclones).
Comminution equipment (crushing, milling).
Work overtime and attend to breakdowns.
Must reside in close proximity to the operations (Thabazimbi area).
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or degree in the engineering field.
MDP or equivalent.
Formal training in planned maintenance.
Legal accountability with a 2.13.1 legal appointment in terms of the MHSA.
The position will report directly to the plant manager.
