Position: Â Mid Weight Set Builder – homechoice
The ideal candidates will be responsible for transforming creative ideas into physical environments for photography. This role requires strong crafting skills,attention to detail, and organization skills.
What you will love doing in this role
Responsible for the assembly and disassembly of temporary or basic sets and making corrections as needed.
Assists in painting newly constructed scenery sets and elements as instructed by Set Builder Lead and/or photographic team or stylists.
Utilizes hand tools as needed to help support the erection of forms, framework, scaffolds, to make bolt holes in timber and/or concrete, and to assemble and fasten material together.
Coordinates with the stylists to ensure timely assembly of different sets.
Works under the direct supervision of the senior Set builder and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Ensures that all work is done under the guidelines and operations procedures of Homechoice studio infrastructure and adheres to regulations and procedures.
Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment.
What you’ll need to do this role
Grade 12 (Matric).
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience within a similar industry.
