A small-to-mid-sized digital and performance marketing agency is looking for a Mid-weight Laravel / PHP Developer to join their team. What the job involves..
Developing, testing, and maintaining custom applications and CMS-based websites using Laravel
Collaborating with front-end developers and designers on user interfaces
Integrating third-party APIs and services (e.g., CRMs, payment gateways)
Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participating in code reviews, testing, and QA
Working within Agile or Kanban workflows, providing estimates and updates
Debugging and enhancing existing applications
Staying current with development trends and technologies
What you need to be considered..
3+ years of PHP development experience, with a strong focus on Laravel (v8+)
Proficiency in MySQL and solid database design knowledge
Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and JSON
Familiarity with Git version control
Experience using Composer, NPM, and other build tools
Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Vue.js (or similar frameworks)
Great debugging and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in a digital agency or handling multiple clients is a big plus
Bonus points if you..
Have experience with CMS platforms like Word Press or Statamic
Understand server environments like Linux, cPanel, or Forge
Have exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Are familiar with SEO, performance optimisation, and analytics integration
