Job Description
I am looking for a Mid-Level Tax Compliance Officer for our client (Chartered Accounting firm).
3 or more years’ experience in the following at a small/medium accounting firm:
• Attendance of SARS appointments
• Preparation of documentation for SARS appointments.
• Submission of individual, company, Body corporate, trust and Estate Late Income Tax returns.
• Preparation and submission of Income Tax Returns for exempt entities.
• Preparation and submission of expat Income tax Returns.
• Preparation and submission of Objections and/or appeals.
• Preparation and submission of Foreign Investment Allowance applications
• Preparation of documents and attending of Customs registration appointments
• Tax emigration for individuals
• Preparation of Provisional tax calculations and submissions
• Addressing client queries (Tax & Accounting)
• Preparation and submission of Income tax registrations, deregistration’s.
• Registration of PBO’s with the SARS exemption unit
• Assisting staff with tax and SARS related queries
• Following up on SARS queries both telephonically and in writing
• Reviewing of tax returns and IT14SD

• Preparation and submission of Tax Directive applications.
• WIP management and billing of clients.
• Preparation and submission of DTR
01 & DTR
02 returns.
• Donation tax declarations.
