Our client, in the Fashion industry, is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team, based in Durban.
Minimum Requirements:
–
Minimum 5 years’ applicable experience within Fashion industry
Good communication skills
Duties to include:
–
Product development / Concept negotiations
Must be able to source New Fabrics
Brief receipt
Costings for the clients
Brief load onto a schedule / change into a job
Obtain artwork / colours from the Buyer
Give the mill approval to go ahead with bulk and get confirmed shipment date
Check the bulk sampling when it arrives and check weight / fabric base – matches the approval
Check fits and seals before they leave
Offer extra units to the customers
Rating adjustments
Keep schedule updated with area responsible for
Chasing for customers PO’s
