FrontierCo is looking for a Merchandiser | Cape Town
100% Remote
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in curating product assortments in line with brand direction and customer demand
Develop seasonal product ranges with the product specialist
Coordinate order placement and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery
Market and Trend Analysis
Gross Profit Management
Supplier Negotiations
Supply Chain Management
In Season and Post Season Analysis and Reporting
Sales forecasting and planning
Inventory management
Assortment planning
Initial product allocation and store replenishment management
Driving growth
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
3 – 5 Years of experience in retail planning and buying.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business, Finance or Mathematics.
Proficient in MS Excel capabilities and MS Office; experience with retail systems advantageous.
Competencies: Analytical; Commercial Awareness; Detail Orientated; Planning; Business Acumen; Relationship Building and Confidence; Process and System Orientated; Agility and Flexibility.
Good communication skills and a team player who can handle high pressure and a fast-paced environment.
