Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure that the Quality Management System confirms to ISO
9001: 2015
Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes
Report to Management on the performance of the Quality Management System; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
Ensure the promotion of customer focus
Ensure the integrity of the Quality Management System is maintained
Servicing and bringing on customers in both RSA and the Southern African development community (“SADC”)
Formulate and implement sales plans
Conduct market analysis and plan marketing strategies
Organise marketing activities to enhance brand awareness
Present products to specialists and provide technical advice
Provide clinical information and support at scientific events
Manage relationships with key opinion leaders and customers
Monitor the market and competitors
Assist in preparing technical and economic reports for tenders
Promote and sell CPAP and BPAP machines to the private sector
Develop relationships with NHS and private prescribers
Attend exhibitions and conferences
Provide product demonstrations and training
Collaborate with the head office in Italy
Visit sleep assessment centers and hospitals
Handle tenders for the NHS and large organizations
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science
Experience in the medical devices market, specifically in technical sales promotion
Knowledge of multi-channel dynamics
Willingness to travel nationwide
Strong brand awareness and promotion experience
Proven experience in medical sales, particularly in respiratory products
Strong network within the NHS and private healthcare sector
Ability to work independently
Nice to have:
1 to 3 years of sales experience in the respiratory channel for medical devices
