A busy multidisciplinary psychology practice is looking for a vibrant, articulate, and experienced Administrator in the George branch. The candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transport is required.
Responsibilities
Managing the diaries of allocated clinicians.
Scheduling of appointments.
Contacting newly referred clients for appointments.
Responding to inquiries.
Maintaining professional communication.
Switchboard management.
Receiving clients in the reception area.
Collection of payments.
Issuing receipts.
Dealing with claim queries and PMB applications to medical aids.
Managing medical aid queries.
Follow up on unpaid accounts.
Assist with account queries.
Daily cash up for the branch.
Manage petty cash for the branch.
Ensure the practice is always neat and tidy (Covid Regulations).

Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of two years’ experience as an administrator in a medical/allied health practice – Essential
Experience in at least one medical management software program – Essential
Experience in doing billing and collections of payments – Essential
Experience working on at least one medical management software programme – Essential. Having GoodX experience will be an advantage.
Qualifications: Matric – Essential
Required Skills:
The ability to manage 3 to 4 psychologists’ diaries with accuracy and precision
The ability to work under pressure.
Strong knowledge of practice management systems.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Afrikaans.
Financial management skills, such as daily cash up and petty cash.
