We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team and provide exceptional support to patients, providers, and payers through prompt, accurate, and courteous resolution of inquiries.
🔹 Position: Customer Service Representative
📍 Location: 2 Elray Street, Raedene Estate, Highlands North, Johannesburg (On-Site, NOT Remote)
⏰ Hours: 3 PM – 11 PM SAST or 4 PM – 12 AM SAST (hours may fluctuate based on schedule)
What You’ll Do:
✅ Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and policy explanations
✅ Handle inbound calls related to medical, pharmacy, and vision healthcare options
✅ Provide accurate and timely resolutions for claims, denials, payments, and billing
✅ Maintain professional and clear communication with customers and internal teams
✅ Meet and exceed key performance metrics
✅ Escalate complex issues when needed
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Experience: minimum 1+ year in a customer service role in a medical/healthcare setting
🔹 Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities
🔹 Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new systems
🔹 Languages: English – Typing and Speaking
🔹 Team Player: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
