Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer, located in the City of Johannesburg. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing machines, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and overseeing project management. Key tasks include research and development (R&D) and applying mechanical engineering principles to develop efficient, innovative solutions. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Design, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
Experience in Project Management
Skills in Research and Development (R&D)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Relevant certifications and experience in the manufacturing or consultancy industries are a plus
