Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer| Point of Sale Manufacturing | La Mercy, Kwa Zulu-Natal
My client is seeking talented engineers to join their team in La Mercy, Kwa Zulu-Natal, at the Dube Tradepost.
Key Requirements:
BSc Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Must be willing and able to travel to Dube Tradepost.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes andquality control.
Strongproblem-solvingandanalytical skills.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
Generalist List of Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for Point of Sale equipment.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Optimize existing products and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Support the manufacturing process by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting production issues.
Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to driveinnovationwithin the company.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for design and testing activities.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
