Full Job Description
Genkem has an exciting opportunity within our Maintenance Department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience to be a Mechanical Maintenance Artisan for our plant based in Johannesburg. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Site Manager
Minimum Criteria:
Matric
Clear Criminal Record
N3 – N6 Mechanical Engineering
Trade Test will be advantageous
Good Communication Skills
Attention to detail
3 Years experience
Responsibilities:
Interpret technical drawings, schematics and specifications to assemble mechanical components accurately.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively to fabricate and fit components.
Conduct inspections and tests on completed machinery to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing corrective actions as required.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
