Thekwini TVET College invites suitably qualified and experienced Lecturers to apply for the following full-time contract posts available for 2025 academic year based in Durban.

CONTRACT

SALARY NOTCH: R PA, plus 37% cash in lieu of benefits.
Requirements:
Matric certificate or equivalent
Recognized and relevant tertiary qualification (REQV
13) with Mathematics, English, Life skills and Computer Literacy
Advanced Teaching Diploma in TVT / Post Graduate Diploma TVET / Diploma in Secondary or HigherEducation
Valid SACE registration (not provisional registration)
Be able to teach Maths, Science, Life Skills and Computer Literacy to NCV or PLP students
Teaching experience will be an added advantage
Sound subject knowledge and work-related applications
Computer literacy (Ms Office)
Customer care;leadershipskills; assertiveness; good record keeping and administrative skills;
Team player
Passion for learning and teaching
Goodcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
Key Result Areas:
Assist with enrolment, registration and induction of students
Teaching and learning delivery
Assess and evaluate student progress
Monitor student attendance register
Maintain student attendance and performance records
Creating classroom environment conducive to teaching and learning
Provide feedback to students regarding their performance and progress
Liaise with Senior Lecturers, Head of Division and Student Support Services officials in providing support interventions to students
Invigilation duties.
