We are currently on a search for a Materials Coordinatorto join the largest manufacturer and distributor of major appliances company in Southern Africa, to be based in Ladysmith, eZakheni.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
SAP Transactions (COGI, MMBE, MB51, MB52, MB1B).
Coois (Production Plan) Understanding of IPS Plan order to resolve COGI.
Analysis BOM to pick up errors – timeous reporting to close gaps.
Oversee the Data capturers (GRV, Backflush, Transfers) to ensure accurate information is captured timeously on SAP – critical material control.
Work closely with the Superintendents to investigate cycle count variances with the assistance of the Materials Manager.
Ascertain if there a problem on Sap and adjust figures accordingly.
Ensure stock on floor balances to data captured on SAP.
Control stock levels to target and Update purchase order actions.
Investigate backlog of Material and communicate to relevant stake holders.
Work together with finance to resolve transactions on SAP.
Provide Sap Training.
Understanding and Processing of Concession.
Send and follow up on information regarding Bach flushing (MMBF).
Streamline manual processes and implement on Sap.
Investigate other SAP modules and implement in the materials department. Work together with Sap consultant to implement a new module.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
Experience with SAP systems: Generally, at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with SAP is required. This could include using SAP modules, performing configurations, and coordinating SAP implementations or upgrades.
Project coordination: Experience in project management or coordination, particularly in an IT or ERP implementation context.
Industry-specific experience may be a plus, depending on the sector (e.g., manufacturing, finance, or logistics).
Skill in both verbal and written communication
