Performs tasks and activities associated with providing an operational and technical support service to the laboratory.
Key Responsibility Areas
Attends to procedural applications associated with the operations of the laboratory.
Assists in the performance of field and laboratory tests.
Transports staff, equipment, and laboratory samples to and from the laboratory.
Undertakes general labouring functions of a skilled and unskilled nature.
Undertakes safety measures such as placing traffic cones for cordoning off of traffic lanes, operating warning flags to control traffic, and operating stop/go traffic control sign boards.
Cleans worksites, laboratory work areas, equipment, and apparatus.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level
4) or equivalent with Mathematics and Science.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level
4) or equivalent with Mathematics and Science and a certificate in Construction Materials Testing or any other related and equivalent certificate.
2 Years relevant experience.
