ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pull stock to fill orders accurately
- Load and unload inbound & outbound freight, with accurate documentation
- Receive/process shipments
- Move and stack materials
- Rotate floor stock
- Inventory fulfillment
- Use technology such as handheld inventory scanners to manage accurate inventory levels
- Provide administrative support to Distribution Center Manager
- Assist other warehouse or plant staff, when required
- Assist in routine care, cleaning and upkeep of machinery within Distribution Warehouse
- Report damaged merchandise or other problems immediately to appropriate supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
- High school degree, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in material handling environment
- Previous administrative responsibilities, preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret store orders for materials pulled
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work successfully in a fast-paced team environment are required
- Possess basic mathematical skills
- Attention to detail and the capacity to increase administrative support responsibilities as needed
- Ability to stand for long period of time and work in a Distribution Center / warehouse environment
- Must have previous experience operating forklifts / electric pallet jacks safely
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, shoulder height.
