Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Master Installation Electrician located in the City of Johannesburg. The Master Installation Electrician will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include reading blueprints or technical diagrams, installing wiring, outlets, and other electrical components, performing diagnostics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes, and issuing a Certificate of Compliance. The role also involves supervising junior electricians and coordinating projects to ensure timely and effective completion.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
Proficiency in diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems
Knowledge of safety regulations and electrical codes
Excellent supervisory and project coordination skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently on-site
Qualified Red Seal Certification or equivalent in Electrical Installation
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
