A fast-growing engineering company is looking for a high-skilled and dynamic Marketing Officer to join their team.
If you are a creative and results-driven individual who has proven experience in developing and implementing strategies that align and drive brand awareness as well as customer engagement within the mining and engineering industries, then we are looking for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Measuring and reporting on marketing performance and brand awareness.
2. Developing and executing marketing campaigns with mines and development sectors across the country.
3. Conducting research and analysing industry trends and briefings for scope of work.
4. Ensuring vendor number registrations and instructions for the company.
5. Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.).
6. Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.
7. See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
2. 3+ years proven experience as a Marketing Officer or similar role.
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. Experience and knowledge of the mining and engineering industry will be an added advantage.
5. Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles.
6. Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods.
7. Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics.
8. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
10. Creativity and commercial awareness.
