Pipe Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor – Brookshire, TX 77423
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing plant. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment while keeping downtime to a minimum. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to lead a team while staying actively involved on the plant floor.
Pipe Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor Job Duties
Lead and support daily maintenance activities throughout the manufacturing plant
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, and adjust production equipment
Dismantle, repair, and reassemble industrial machinery and components
Repair and repack pumps and maintain hand, shop, and power tools
Perform general rigging, pipe threading, fitting, and equipment alignment
Read hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and equipment layouts to diagnose problems
Identify equipment failures, determine required parts, and complete repairs
Develop and complete preventative maintenance schedules
Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems before breakdowns occur
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation
Ensure maintenance employees follow all plant safety procedures
Pipe Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor Requirements
2.5–3+ years of industrial or plant maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with pumps, hydraulics, rigging, pipe fitting, and industrial machinery
Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and technical documents
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment
Leadership or maintenance lead experience preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physically demanding maintenance work
Must be available for occasional off-shift callouts
No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Pay: $28.00–$32.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Hours may vary; occasional callouts required)
