The Manager: UCC Engineering: reports to the Senior Manager: UCC
Your responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic direction and oversee the design, lead the implementation, and optimize of engineering solutions within the UCC Converged Solutions Team which includes the incident and customer project/order implementations
• Champion innovation and drive enhancements in the performance and reliability of the Converged Solutions infrastructure to meet evolving customer demands and align with MTN SA Innovation objectives.
• Translate priority sector and client needs into impactful Business Line technical solutions and assets across solution/product domains, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and delivering substantial business value.
• Formulate and execute engineering strategies that support the company’s overarching objectives, fostering innovation and maintaining superior network performance and reliability.
Manage and develop vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations while driving continuous improvement.
