An international concern is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Accounting Department, supporting operations across Southern Africa (Johannesburg & Maputo). This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team while managing accounting operations for multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting
Lead all financial procedures, including accounts preparation, financial planning, and budgeting
Monitor and report budget variances
Implement cost control and analysis programs
Design and optimize financial systems
Tax Management
Handle tax computations and SARS queries
Review tax assessments
Oversee VAT returns
Coordinate with tax advisors on transfer pricing
Prepare annual Country by Country reporting
Financial Operations
Manage banking relationships and annual facilities
Ensure compliance with Reserve Bank Regulations and Exchange Control
Handle foreign currency management
Oversee cash flow operations for multiple locations
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
Professional qualification : CA and / or CMA
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience
Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and Power Point
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Demonstrated logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Team leadership experience
