Purpose Of The Role
The Manager: Academic Acquisition and Contract Management is responsible for leading the institution’s academic block recruitment, employment contracting, and workforce compliance functions. The role is accountable for the successful delivery of four annual lecturing block recruitment projects, ensuring the attraction, selection, and onboarding of qualified academic talent to meet institutional workforce requirements. Additionally, the role oversees the maintenance, administration and governance of fixed-term employment contracts, casual (temporary employment) contracts, and independent contractor agreements, while ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, institutional policies, and foreign national employment requirements.
