Management Couple – Luxury Safari Lodge | Greater Kruger
Salary: Negotiable DOE
Kendrick Recruitment is currently on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Management Couple to join a prestigious luxury safari lodge nestled in the heart of Mpumalanga. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to live and work in one of South Africa’s premier safari destinations, leading the day-to-day operations of a world-class property.
Key Responsibilities:
Lodge Management & Operations
Oversee and manage all lodge departments to ensure seamless operations
Supervise front of house, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and guiding teams
Maintain the lodge’s high standards in both guest service and internal processes
Guest Relations & Hosting
Personally engage with guests and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
Uphold a reputation for personalised, luxury service
Staff Management
Lead, train, and support a multi-disciplinary team
Manage rosters, schedules, and staff development
Foster a positive, motivated, and guest-focused culture
Administrative & Financial Oversight
Handle stock control, procurement, and budgeting
Assist with monthly reports and ensure financial discipline
Keep operating costs within budget without compromising quality
Maintenance & Standards
Ensure property and infrastructure are kept in top condition
Oversee daily maintenance and sustainability practices
Work with the team to continually improve guest experiences
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a 5-star luxury lodge or hotel
Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and high guest service standards
Administrative proficiency including budgeting and reporting
Valid South African driver’s licences (both applicants)
South African citizens or valid work permit holders
