Mouton Citrus, situated in the beautiful Citrusdal Valley, is a vertically integrated company and leader in the citrus industry regarding international best practice. We have an opportunity for an analytical Management Accountant with excellent financial acumen and the ability to work accurately under pressure to join our capable team. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this is a service role supporting the operational units and Finance
leadership
in the pursuit of international best practice, with the following responsibilities:
Maintenance of financial data in the accounting system and related apps
Management of data capturing processes (manual and automated)
Costings and variance analysis and reporting
Support with budgeting processes
Investigate and report on budget variances
Capex modelling, costing, reporting and maintenance of fixed assets records
Assistance with tax calculations and records, specifically related to fixed assets
Audit support
Management reporting
All other tasks related to the position
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
BCom Accounting degree or similar qualification & completed CIMA articles
3-5 years’ post-article experience
Excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English)
Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Apps)
Experience in the agricultural sector will be to the candidate’s advantage
