Job Advert Summary
We are looking for a skilled Maitre ‘D to manage the front of house.The Maitre ‘D will be responsible include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties.
Established in 1975, Feedem is a large contract catering company in South Africa which manages in excess of 300 sites and employs more than 5 000 people ranging from dieticians, chefs and human capital specialists to hygiene experts.

Minimum Requirements
Skills and Competencies
Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
Flexible work hours.
Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
Trustworthy and Reliable
Have good personal hygiene
Qualifications
Grade 12
1 – 2 year experience in a similar role.
Culinary qualification would be advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers and hand out menus.
Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
Check that customers are satisfied with their meal.
Ensure the smooth running and operation of Front of House
