Powerstone Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Worker for a large on-site condominium community in Chatsworth under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

- Job duties include repair/maintenance of exterior buildings and common areas including fences, gates, patio grilles, pool wrought iron, stucco walls and concrete walks/alley easements (work which does not require a license).
- Perform routine site inspections of buildings and common areas and initiate maintenance requests as needed.
- Confer daily with the Maintenance Supervisor on completed and assigned work orders.
- Attend and participate in safety and staff meetings and submit suggestions on work related issues.
- Operate equipment and tools as required and secure equipment at the end of each day.
- Act as a back-up and perform duties of janitorial person in their absence.
- Work with the General Manager and Assistant G.M. on other duties/projects assigned.
- 2-4 years of related work experience required.
- Experience in general carpentry and basic plumbing knowledge.
- Experience in concrete work a plus.
- Must speak English, English and Spanish a plus.
- A responsible and reliable self-starter who requires limited supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and successfully complete all projects within deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, vendors and residents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour
