Are you a hands-on Maintenance Technician with solid industry experience and a desire to build your future in Europe?

We are looking for motivated technicians who want to relocate to the Netherlands and work in industrial environments, maintaining and troubleshooting complex machinery.

This role is industrial-focused.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of industrial machinery and production equipment. Your tasks include:

  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machines
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic faults
  • Working on production lines, heavy machinery, and/or industrial installations
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
  • Reporting maintenance activities and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Ensuring all work is performed according to safety regulations and procedures
  • Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams
  • PLC knowledge is a big plus!

Education, Experience & Skills:

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • 1–5 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment
  • Red Seal certification in one of the following trades:
  • Millwright
  • Electrician
  • Mechanical Fitter & Turner
  • Proven experience working on machines and industrial systems
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Motivation to relocate and build a long-term career in the Netherlands

We Offer

  • 1-2 year contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment.
  • Monthly gross salary: 4.357,00 + shift allowance
  • 25 paid vacation days + paid public holidays.
  • Holiday allowance of 8.33%, paid annually in May.
  • Travel reimbursement: €0.23/km.
  • Relocation support:
  • First housing arranged and upfront payment of rent/deposit if needed
  • €1,500 – €3,000 net relocation bonus
  • Pick-up on arrival and onboarding support (bank, BSN, insurance, etc.)
  • Work permit and visa assistance (if applicable).
  • Team onboarding events and community support.
