Our client in the engineering and manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role requires a skilled individual with a mechanical or industrial electrical background to support machine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Diploma 2+ years of maintenance experience (preferably in the food industry). Strong mechanical or industrial electrical background with basic instrumentation skills. Ability to read industrial drawings and follow instructions.
Hands-on experience
in installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment. Computer literacy, analytical thinking, and
strong communication skills
. Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and test mechanical and pneumatic systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Perform routine maintenance inspections and identify necessary repairs to prevent breakdowns. Assemble and disassemble mechanical and pneumatic equipment. Maintain
tools and equipment
in safe working condition. Provide technical support to production teams to minimize machine downtime. Prepare documentation for maintenance reports and technical support records. Respond to emergency breakdowns and be available for standby call-outs when required.
Report unsafe machine operations and assist in enforcing safety-first culture.
