Job Description : Technician Assistant – Maintenance

Purpose of Role : The successful candidate will assist with general maintenance tasks and support the Artisan, provided the necessary training has been given.

Key Responsibilities :
Adhere to all Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements.
Follow the Duty of Care Policy at all times.
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
Support the maintenance team by assisting with routine maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry), and maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas.
Assist with event setups and breakdowns, including moving furniture, and aid in diagnosing and repairing facility and equipment issues.
Demonstrate commitment to zero harm behaviors to promote a world-class safety culture.
Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :
Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, mobile elevated work platforms
Problem-solving and communication skills
Basic technical skills: using hand and power tools, understanding plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
