Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, mechanical equipment, and building interior components using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities equipment to identify issues early and prevent breakdowns.
- Repair electrical equipment and systems utilizing schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Maintain HVAC systems through repairs, filter replacements, refrigerant checks, and system calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute plumbing system maintenance including leak repairs, pipe replacements, fixture servicing, and drain cleaning.
- Lead or assist with carpentry tasks such as installing or repairing doors, cabinets, shelving, and other interior fixtures.
- Supervise or collaborate with team members on maintenance painting projects and facilities upkeep tasks to ensure high standards of quality.
- Use hand tools and electrical equipment safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs and work orders for accountability and future reference.
- Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to internal requests for repairs or maintenance needs within the facility.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and building automation systems.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and mechanical repair work to address diverse maintenance challenges.
- Strong electrical experience including electrical equipment repair, troubleshooting circuits with multimeters or ohmmeters, and electrical system diagnostics.
- Skilled in HVAC system repair, including troubleshooting compressors, fans, thermostats, filters, and refrigerant systems.
- Competence in plumbing system maintenance such as pipe fitting, leak detection, fixture repair/replacement, and drain cleaning.
- Familiarity with carpentry tasks related to building interior maintenance like door installation or repair projects.
- Experience with maintenance painting—residential or commercial—to enhance facility aesthetics.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately for effective troubleshooting and repairs.
- Leadership experience in supervising or mentoring maintenance teams is preferred; strong communication skills in English are essential for clear documentation and teamwork.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills; knowledge of electrical equipment repair is critical.

Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
