Position: Maintenance Manager (GMR 2.1)

Join a well-established food manufacturing organisation operating within an integrated food value chain environment, with large-scale processing, production, cold chain and distribution operations.
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and safe operation of plant equipment while leading maintenance strategies, improving uptime and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full maintenance function for a large-scale production facility.
- Fulfil GMR 2.1 responsibilities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to improve plant reliability.
- Oversee breakdown management, fault finding and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate maintenance planning, projects, contractors and technical resources.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and downtime reduction.
- Ensure mechanical and electrical systems are maintained to required operational standards.
- Lead and develop a technical maintenance team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum T3 / N5 technical qualification.
- Proven experience managing maintenance within a high-capacity industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Registered/appointed as a GMR 2.1 responsible person.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
- Experience in production-driven environments such as food manufacturing, FMCG, processing or similar industries.
- Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
