Overview
Hire Resolve’s client in the Food Manufacturing is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Responsibilities :
To plan, coordinate and implement all repairs and maintenance activities for the Processing Facility within the constructs of Occupational Health & Safety Regulations; and oversee the day-to-day performance of the Maintenance team
Repairs and Maintenance:
Manage all repairs and maintenance (preventative and emergency) activities and projects on brief, on budget and on time
Staff Management
Financial management, budgeting and due diligence regarding spending
Procurement, stores & stock control, using a modernproject management program
Site compliance
Fleet maintenance
Maintenance of security systems
Reporting
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Technical)
Proven technical experience
3 years’ managerial experience in preferably a Food Processing environment
Effective knowledge of machines and techniques used in food processing environment
Good written and oral communication skills with fluency in English and ability to write reports
Computer literacy (intermediate) in MS Office and Google Suite software packages
Project management and leadership skills
Physically fit and willingness to work in outdoor conditions
Be willing to work overtime (incl. standby and call-out duties) and have a 24/7 availability
Driver’s license and own reliable transport
