Location: Pretoria (Head Office)

Position: Permanent

Salary: R20 000 neg depending on experience.

Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair and upkeep of its head office facilities and company-owned properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities or building maintenance management. Experience managing commercial buildings, office facilities or corporate properties. Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and building infrastructure. Experience managing contractors and service providers. A National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, Property Management, Engineering or a related field will be advantageous. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Key Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance of office buildings, facilities and company properties. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules. Coordinate repairs relating to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, roofing, painting, carpentry and general building maintenance. Manage external contractors and service providers, including sourcing quotations and monitoring work quality. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation. Maintain asset registers and oversee refurbishment and replacement projects. Manage security, cleaning, waste removal, landscaping and other facility services. Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate maintenance records. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be: Hands-on and willing to get involved in day-to-day maintenance activities. Exceptionally detail orientated. Able to apply practical knowledge to solve problems effectively. Calm under pressure and able to prioritise multiple tasks. Organised, reliable and accountable. A strong communicator with excellent planning and decision-making abilities.
