JOB TITLE: Machine Programmer

REPORTS TO Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Integrated Fabrication & Machine is currently seeking a machine programmer responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to produce high-quality parts efficiently and safely. This role works closely with engineering and machine operators to ensure programs meet production and quality requirements. . Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for lathes and mills.
  • Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
  • Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies for efficient production
  • Perform test runs and troubleshoot programs at the machine
  • Improve cycle times and reduce scrap through continuous process improvements
  • Work with operators to resolve machining issues and provide technical support
  • Maintain program documentation and revision control
  • Collaborate with engineering to meet part specifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
  • 3+ years CNC programming experience preferred
