We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator for a company in the north of JHB. You will have a proven track record in the steel industry and a strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
POSITION INFO :
Minimum Requirements :
Grade 12
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the steel industry
Prior experience in operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment
Certification in machine operation or mechanical maintenance is preferred
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a steel manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Clear criminal and credit record
Duties and Responsibilities :
Operate and maintain machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure optimal production efficiency.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
