Full Job Description
The incumbent, reporting to the Shift Supervisor, will be responsible for the following:
Achieving required efficiencies and productivity on the assigned flexo press
Ensuring that the output meets Rotolabel quality standards
Ensuring that material usage is in line with standards and that excess material and material waste is minimized
Ensuring that autonomous maintenance is carried out as per standing instructions and standard operating procedures, so that the machine remains in good condition
Ensuring that 5S principles are upheld and that housekeeping on and around the machine is in line with excellent standards
Adhering to all health and safety instructions and practices
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric)
A recognised Roll-label Machine Minding qualification
At least 5 years’ practical experience of operating a printing press
A proven track record of operating a flexo press will be a distinct advantage
Experience in embellishment processes such as foiling, silkscreen and high build will be advantageous

Good problem-solving skills, coupled with a good technical understanding of printing
