At Herker Industries we are looking for a Machine Maintenance Mechanic to add to our team! With a wide variety of machines running in all five of our plants, we are looking for a skilled maintenance worker that enjoys the challenge of continual learning. As the Machine Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for conducting mechanical and electrical repairs of CNC Machines, Multi-Spindle Machines, and other industrial equipment.
Pay is dependent on skills and experience
1st Shift: 6:00am – 3:00pm (Monday to Thursday); 6:00am – 10:00am (Friday) May be flexible on Shift Start/End times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoot & Repair Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic/Hydraulic problems on CNC Lathes/Mills and Multi Spindle Machines, and other equipment to determine the root cause
- Assist machine operators in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
- Electrical maintenance on machines including, but not limited to PLC’s, 3 Phase Wiring, overloads, and electrical schematics
- Prioritize daily repairs.
- Follow machine maintenance schedule and conduct preventative maintenance
- Assist with maintaining appropriate repair/replacement parts inventory
- Set up new machinery and equipment
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot machine problems over the phone and in person
- Conduct maintenance work according to OSHA Standards
- Interact with machine operators and various departments in a professional manner
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance department.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Ability to pass company provided fork/boom lift training.

Experience:
- Machine Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
