Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, automotive fluid replacements, and tire services efficiently and accurately
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and minor mechanical issues
- Assist with wheel alignments and minor mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools
- Support automotive diagnostics to determine necessary repairs or maintenance procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, ensuring safety standards are met
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Assist senior technicians with heavier lifting tasks and vehicle maintenance as needed
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Mechanic experience with a solid understanding of standard passenger car operation
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, oil change procedures, and tire service
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical repair techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Basic understanding of automotive alignment and minor mechanical repairs is a plus
