Duties
- Safely move and park new and used vehicles around the dealership lot using standard passenger car operation skills.
- Assist customers by retrieving or parking their vehicles, providing friendly guest services with a positive attitude.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including sweeping, washing vehicles if needed, and ensuring outdoor areas are tidy.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving tires, parts, or other dealership equipment efficiently and safely.
- Process cash transactions related to vehicle services or customer payments accurately while handling cashiering duties.
- Communicate clearly with team members and guests to coordinate vehicle movements and address customer inquiries professionally.
- Support delivery drivers by assisting with loading/unloading vehicles or parts as required in outdoor work settings.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is highly valued for creating a welcoming environment.
- Dealership or automotive service experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for those eager to learn.
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and driving skills are essential for safe vehicle handling on dealership grounds.
- Ability to perform manual transmission driving is preferred for versatile vehicle movement tasks.
- Comfortable with outdoor work environments, including heavy lifting and physical activity throughout the day.
- Experience with cash handling, retail math, or processing transactions ensures accuracy in cashiering duties.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members are vital for success in this role.
