We are excited to announce that we have two openings for a project-based Logistics Coordinator with one of our clients in the telecommunications industry. The chosen candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from origin to destination. They will play a key role in coordinating various aspects of the supply chain and ensuring timely deliveries for our valued customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for two individuals to join us for a 3-to-6-month assignment, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
POSITION INFO:
Logistic related qualification
1 year must have a Logistics qualification
5 years and more, it is optional
Working hours 8 to 5 (might be needed on an occasional basis to work weekends)
Closely monitor supply chains and shipments, ensuring goods move efficiently from origin to destination. This involves tracking shipments, identifying potential delays, and keeping stakeholders informed.
Liaise with clients to understand their needs, answer questions about their orders, and ensure timely deliveries.
Ensure client orders are shipped and delivered according to agreed-upon schedules. This might involve coordinating with warehouses, carriers, and customs to avoid delays.
Maintain accurate and consistent records, including order details, inventory levels, shipping documentation, and performance metrics.
Adept at addressing errors and discrepancies; investigate issues, find solutions, and implement corrective actions to keep clients satisfied.
Ensure there are enough supplies and products on hand to meet customer demand. This involves tracking stock levels, placing orders with vendors, and optimizing storage space.
Negotiate shipping rates with carriers to secure the best deals for the company.
Manage warehouse equipment and raw material orders.
Oversee production timelines to ensure on-time product completion.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
